The version is version 4. I’m going to see if this works with just the RT73 driver and no RT driver now that I think about it, it should. Then open up another Finder window and go to the root beginning of your hard drive.
Remember that you also must use the “USBWirelessUtility” application to set up your connection and that you must start wusb54ggc every time you restart your computer.

Posted April 18, Ignore the downloads below, they are from the old methods. I have a linksys wusb54g wub54gc wireless adapter, and was trying to follow the instructions here to get it to work, with no luck.
Or sign in with one of these services. Mac OS X Wireless It seems like it’s working in All current versions,are supported.

Have you tried installing it and seeing if it shows up on the mac? Like what parts make up your system, how did you install osx, what version is it, did you use boot, did you previously have this stick working even partially, do any other apps crash when they shouldn’t, and did USBWirelessUtility always crash?
I added the -f with the osx86tools but that didn’t do anything. BoneFill Registered May 31, It’s a pretty good adapter once it’s working, and this is probably one of the easier ones with the setup packages. I’ve tried the manual method along with your install but the device still isn’t recognized.
Now install an application such as Kext Helper B7Kext Installerjac this nice app we aren’t allowed to link to for some stupid reason. As a shot in the dark I tried it, and it worked right off the bat.

I hope this comes in handy for some of you. Posted February 4, I believe all you have to do is install the setup file and then tell the wireless utility app to “Open at Login” by right-clicking on the app’s dock icon.
